Why Make Your Own Laundry Soap?

Making your own laundry soap has so many benefits:

- Eco-friendly: You’ll reduce waste and avoid harsh chemicals.

- Budget-friendly: A few simple ingredients go a long way.

- Customizable: Peppermint is perfect for the holidays, but you can try other scents throughout the year.

Ingredients (Per Gallon Jar)

Here’s what you’ll need to whip up your peppermint laundry soap:

- 1 cup washing soda

- 1 cup Borax

- 1 cup liquid peppermint castile soap

- Boiling water

- 1-gallon jar with lid

Step-by-Step Instructions

1️⃣ Combine the Ingredients: In your gallon jar, add 1 cup of washing soda, 1 cup of Borax, and 1 cup of liquid peppermint castile soap.

2️⃣ Add Boiling Water: Pour in boiling water until the jar is about halfway full. Stir the mixture until everything is dissolved.

3️⃣ Fill with Water & Stir: Once dissolved, fill the rest of the jar with water and stir again.

4️⃣ Let Cool & Set: Allow the mixture to cool, then seal the jar with its lid. Let it sit overnight.
